Stromar

Stromar is a floating offshore wind project off the coast of Caithness being delivered by a consortium of Ørsted, Falck Renewables and BlueFloat Energy. Led by a team combining Ørsted’s unparalleled record of designing and building offshore developments with BlueFloat Energy’s unique expertise in floating wind and Falck Renewables’ pioneering approach to community engagement, Stromar aims to maximise the value of floating offshore wind to Scotland, benefitting communities and industry. Work is underway to ensure the project creates skilled jobs and contains the highest amount of local content possible, boosting the supply chain and the Scottish economy whilst driving the energy transition.
