Ferguson Transport & Marine Services, established in 1959, is a family run business and one of the largest independent logistic companies in the Highlands and Islands. Working successfully with partners and customers for over 60 years now, we provide logistic solutions within the Road, Rail, Sea, Port and Warehousing sectors.

We have industry experienced staff throughout all divisions of the company and are available 365 days of the year for long and short term contracts, private hire or ad hoc business. Each contract is tailored to meet individual customer requirements and all of our vehicles and vessels adhere to strict, safe environmental and biosecure industry best practices.

Our vessels operate, but not exclusive, from the company’s own port facilities at Kishorn and Mallaig and we offer various Port and Marine services to the Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, Renewables, Decommissioning and Aquaculture sectors, specialising in Port Services and Logistic Management.

For servicing the Aquaculture sector, we have biosecure mort management solutions, net uplift & transportation, cargo movements and storage & warehousing facilities in Corpach, Kishorn and Mallaig. We also own and operate a fleet of tanker trailers with the relevant waste management licences and permits in place.

Our LGV fleet run the length and breadth of the UK transporting General, Energy sector products and Specialised haulage including ADR, Waste Management and Biosecure Mort Management solutions, all to ISO accredited and approved standards.
